Garmin GPSMap 172/172C
The GPSMap 172 offers
boaters an affordable electronic navigation
solution with a 12-channel parallel
receiver and the capability to display Garmin
MapSource chart data.

The GPSMap 172 also includes a built-in
worldwide basemap with U. S. highways,
interstates, river, and lakes. It will
accept Garmin BlueChart cartridges for
additional charting detail for display on its bright, sharp
ten-level gray FSTN LCD display with 320 x 320
pixels or the 172C's 256 color screen. The smallest units are easy to
read, even in the dark, thanks to this backlit
display.
